Who we are
This website is run by neXus Dance Collective ("neXus", "we"), a Recognized Student Organization at the University of Chicago. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Using the site
The site is free and has no accounts or sign-ups. Please don't try to disrupt it, get around its security, or point automated tools at it in a way that overloads it.
Our videos, photos and logos
Unless noted otherwise, the videos, photos, graphics and text on this site and our channels are made by neXus members, and the neXus and KonneX names and logos belong to neXus.
You're welcome to share links to our content and to embed our YouTube videos using YouTube's own share tools. Please ask us first before you:
- download, re-upload, edit or remix our videos or photos;
- use our content commercially, in advertising, or to promote something; or
- use the neXus or KonneX name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your event.

Music and choreography
Our covers are fan performances made for non-commercial purposes. The songs, music videos and original choreography belong to their artists, labels, choreographers and other rights holders, not to us.
neXus isn't affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any artist, label or entertainment company. Artist and group names appear only to identify the work being covered.
If you hold rights in something we've posted and want it changed or removed, see Copyright and rights holders.
Other sites and services
The site links to and embeds services we don't control, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Blueprint, ticketing pages and application forms. Your use of those is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Our relationship with the University
neXus is recognized by the University of Chicago through the Center for Leadership and Involvement. This is a student-run site, not an official University website. The University isn't responsible for its content, and nothing here is a statement by the University. University policies apply to neXus and its members and take priority over anything on this site.
Events
neXus events, including showcases and KonneX, may have their own rules, ticket terms, waivers or registration requirements. Those apply in addition to these terms, along with the policies of the venue and the University. Event details on this site, such as dates, times and lineups, can change. Check our Instagram for the latest.
No warranties
We try to keep the site accurate and working, but it's provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neXus and its members aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the services it links to. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
